Seamless Integration with EVO Series Amplifiers

The EVO Phonostage is an internal phono stage that connects directly to one of the existing line inputs on your PrimaLuna EvoLution Integrated Amplifier or Preamplifier. It comes with all the installation material needed. No extra plugs or cables are required. Note that this product was intended ONLY for PrimaLuna EVO preamplifiers and integrated amps, but it is also suitable for use in other situations if the installer knows his stuff. We even know of situations where the board is installed in a separate metal chassis, the best place to mount a sensitive board like a phono stage board. This solution gave us the idea to mount a separate, fully shielded metal cabinet under the main PrimaLuna cabinet.

Compact Design with Superior Sound Quality

The PrimaLuna PhonoLogue Phonostage is a design by ex-Goldmund engineer Marcel Croese, our long-time technical department “chief.” The small size easily confuses potential owners as small and light aren’t as sensational as big, heavy, and expensive. Surface Mount Technology implementation was required for the shortest signal path and reduction of parasitic capacitances and inductance. At the same time, space reasons were evident, as initially, the board was intended for mounting inside the amplifiers.

The boards are made in Holland to ISO 9001 standards and boast selected components for the best sound quality. Miniature film capacitors, minimelf resistors, and a superior op-amp for lowest noise, highest speed, and robust drive. Low impedance electrolytes and a super low noise power supply result in a turntable experience with goose bumps without costing a fortune.

The PhonoLogue phono stage is suitable for both moving magnet and high-output moving coil cartridges and should be mounted by a skilled technical department of your PrimaLuna dealer. Complete mounting documentation is available on request.
